It was the 2nd time in his career that he failed to register a win the season after winning Player of the Year… Advanced to the Finals of the Match Play Invitational for the 4th time in his career; lost to Chris Moawad for the 2nd time. Played 2 tournaments in the Covid-affected season, finishing top-3 in each… Finished 3rd in the Tour Championship making just his 2nd start in the last 6 years. His 85 established a new career best score at Valencia; he also carded a new career-best front-9 by 5 strokes; his tournament-high 11 bogeys became a new course record… Finished T-2nd at the Masters (3rd runner-up finish in 13 career starts), his best result since 2016 (T-2nd); carded a tournament high 6 bogeys. The Masters marked the 100th tournament of his career… As defending champion, missed the Charly Classic, becoming the 3rd champion of the tournament’s 17-year history to not make his start the following year.
2019: 
Completed his 14th season, playing in 5 of 7 regular season tournaments plus the Tournament of Champions. Recorded 3 wins, the 2nd 3-win and 5th multiple-win season of his career. Finished the year ranked 3rd, his highest finish since 2013 when he ended the year also ranked 3rd… Won the season-opening Charly Classic for the first time; it marked his first victory since the 2015 Masters, ending a 10-tournament winless streak. His 32 was the top gross, matching his career-best Charly Classic score (2007 & 2009); just his 3rd Charly Classic start in the last 7 years, and only his 13th start in the last 33 tournaments on Tour overall; 1 of 3 golfers with a birdie, earning him a share of the $9 birdie pool… Won the Hooters for the 2nd time in his career, the first coming 13 years ago in his Tour debut in 2006. It was his 9th top-3 finish, 7th top-2 finish in 12 career Hooters starts. As the #2 seed defeated #7 Tim Joe 5and3 in the 1st round to remain unbeaten (3-0) against Joe; defeated #6 Ed Quiroz 4and3 in the semi-finals; match was their first against one another… Made his first start in 5 years at the Tour Championship, finishing 4th… Shot a career-worst 87 at the Masters; carded a tournament-high 8 bogeys and finished 6th… Did not play Devil Ball for the 3rd straight year… Illness forced him to miss the Griffith Observatory Championship for the 7th straight year… Collected $12 in birdie pool money for the season, upping his career total to $30 (3rd all-time)… The Hooters marked the 95th tournament of his career… Won the Tournament of Champions for the 3rd time in his last 3 TOC starts. 2018: 
Made just 2 starts… His appearance at the Masters was his first Tour start since the 2017 Hooters Championship… Finished 3rd with first time partner Ed Quiroz at the Hooters… Missed the Charly Classic for the 3rd time in the past 4 years… Missed the Tour Championship for the 4th straight year… Missed the Griffith Observatory Championship for the 6th straight year… Since the 2015 season, has missed 21 of 33 tournaments.
2017:
 Played in 4 of 8 regular season tournaments, finishing in the top-3 in all but one. Failed to record a win for the 2nd straight year… As the #3 seed in Match Play, played in his 6th Final Four before losing to #2 seed Chris Moawad, dropping to 1-3 lifetime against Moawad… In his first Charly Classic start in 3 years, finished a career-best T-2nd… With partner Gerry Vaughan, finished 2nd in the Hooters, his 4th straight runner-up finish in the event. The tournament marked his 90th career start… Tied for 6th at the Masters where, for the 3rd straight year, he had the top score for Devil’s Gulch (+4)… Did not play the Devil Ball Shootout for the first time in his career, marking the last tournament of his career he had never missed… Missed the Survivor for the 2nd time in the last 3 years. Did not play the Tour Championship for the 3rd straight year, and missed the Griffith Observatory Championship for the 5th straight year.
2016: 
Despite matching a career low 3 starts, posted 2 runner-up finishes and ended the year ranked 8th… Missed the first 4 tournaments with an elbow ailment, the same issue that forced him to miss the final 2 tournaments of 2015… Made his season debut at the Masters where, as defending champion, finished T-2nd. Was involved in a 3-man sudden playoff with Clint Crump and Ed Quiroz where Crump prevailed. Shot a new career best round (75) 1 lower than his previous best, established in 2010. With 2 birdies and 4 pars on the back-9 shot a new Masters back-9 record 33, breaking the old record of 34 shared by Doug Vargas (2007) and Armen Grigorian (2005). With his birdies collected $18 in birdie pool money rolled over from the Griffith. Shot the top Devil’s Gulch score (+3) for the 2nd straight year. It was his 6th straight top-3 finish at the Masters… In the 85th tournament of his career finished 2nd in the Devil Ball Shootout for the 3rd time in 10 career starts. Devil Ball remains the only tournament he has never missed… Survived an unprecedented quadruple playoff with John Frost (quintuple total) on the first hole of the Survivor Challenge.
2015: 
In his 10th season on the MGM Tour missed all but 3 tournaments, but finished in the top-3 in 2 of his 3 starts…  Won the Masters for the 2nd time in his career and first in 5 years. Tied for best Devil’s Gulch (+3); was the only golfer without a triple bogey or worse on his scorecard… Finished in the top-3 for the 4th time in his last 5 starts in the season-opening Manhattan Beach Championship; set new tournament records for score (66) and pars (10); broke 70 for the 2nd time and first since 2009; his pair of 33’s were new career best single round Manhattan Beach scores…  Had the top score in the Devil Ball Shootout but his team did not make the championship round… Missed the Hooters, Match Play Invt’l, and Survivor Challenge for the first time in his career, the latter due to elbow inflammation. His elbow injury forced him to miss the season-ending Tour Championship for the first time in his career as well… Qualified for the Tournament of Champions for the first time since 2013, but did not play due to the aforementioned elbow injury.
2014: 
Played in a career-low 7 of 9 tournaments. Registered 4 top-3 finishes but finished the season without a victory for the 2nd time in the last 3 years; finished the year ranked 8th, his lowest finish since he finished 10th in his rookie year (2006)… Finished runner-up in the season-opening Manhattan Beach Championship, his 3rd top-3 in his last 4 MBC starts. Dating back to last season it was his 4th straight top-3 finish in a tournament… As a 6 seed made it to his 5th Final Four in the Match Play Invt’l after defeating #3 Chris Moawad for the first time in his career; lost to #2 Armen Grigorian on the final hole of their semi-final match… Finished runner up at the Hooters (this time with teammate P-Jay Fidler) for the 3rd year in a row… As defending champion at the Survivor, finished 3rd, losing a double playoff on the 2nd to final hole to eventual winner Chris Moawad. His tournament ended on the same hole he lost on in 2012 where he also finished 3rd… Made a 14-stroke improvement on the back-9 of the Tour Championship and was the only golfer to go sub-40 on the back-9; the tournament marked the 80th of his career… Shot 40-plus for the first time at the Charly… Missed the championship round in the Devil Ball Shootout for the first time in 4 years; his 33 was a new Devil Ball personal best at DeBell… Missed the Griffith Observatory Championship for the 2nd year in a row and did not play the Masters for the 2nd time in the last 3 years… With no regular season victories was unable to defend his title at the Tournament of Champions.
2013: 
Won the Survivor Challenge for the 5th time, 4th in 5 years. The win tied the Tour record for most victories in any one tournament and ended his 21-month, 14-tournament winless streak… Won the Tournament of Champions for the 2nd time in as many starts. Set a new tournament record low score after carding a 34… Finished 2nd at the Tour Championship, his best result in 5 years. Was 1 of just 2 players with a sub-40 round (back-9)… Finished 3rd at The Masters, his 5th top-3 finishes in his last 5 Masters starts. Was a tournament-best +3 over Devil’s Gulch… Made his 2013 debut at the Hooters after missing the first 2 tournaments. With partner Travois Gordón finished 2nd after losing on the 2nd hole of sudden death. It was his 2nd straight runner up finish at the Hooters… Finished 3rd at the Devil Ball Shootout, his 3rd straight top-3 Devil Ball result. Was 1 of just 3 golfers to shoot under 50, 1 of 3 to record a birdie, and 1 of only 2 to not score worse than double bogey… With partner John Mann, tied for 2nd at the Hooters, his best finish in 3 years. It was his 4th top-3 finish in 7 appearances… Tied for 2nd in the Devil Ball for the 2nd straight year… Was 4th at the Tour Championship, his best finish in 4 years.  His total round 74 (2nd best on the day) established a new personal best score at Scholl. Had the day’s best front-9 (37). The tournament marked his 65th on Tour… Finished 3rd at the Survivor, ending his 3-year winning streak… Missed the Masters (travel) for the first time in his career. It snapped his streak of 34 consecutive tournament starts… Played in 9 of 10 tournaments.
2011: Crowned Player of the Year for the 2nd time in the last 3 years… Had 5 top-3 finishes… His first ever win at the Tournament of Champions (which he has qualified for every season) gave him 3 victories adding him to the small list (Grigorian, Moawad, D.
