The 2023 MGM Tour season unofficially tees of this Sunday with the Tournament of Champions. 2022 season winners Tim Joe, Eric Stolz, Chris Moawad, Doug Vargas, and Player of the Year Walter Vargas make up the field. It’s the Tour’s first visit to Terranea since 2019 after the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled.
With 20 seasons in the books, the MGM Tour embarks on a new season with 8 tournaments, beginning in March and concluding in September.

Following Clint Crump’s retirement last year, the MGM Tour is now down to 3 charter members (from 8): Martin Witt, Patrick Bird, and Tim Joe… 2022 Player of the Year Walter Vargas will join the 20-win club with his next victory… 2-time 2022 season winner and 17-year veteran Doug Vargas continues to be the best golfer on Tour never to have won Player of the Year… John Mann currently holds the Tour’s longest winless streak at 26. His last victory came 11 years ago in 2012 after he successfully defended his Master title; Gerry Vaughan is next at 19, with his last victory coming at the 2017 Tour Championship; that season he was named Player of the Year…Last month P-Jay Fidler turned the big 5-0. In his 20th season on Tour Gerry Vaughan will hit the half century milestone in April becoming the last of the Tour veterans to join the “50-club”.
