• STORYLINES: This is the 14th edition of the tournament, which honors, and his hosted by, Charly Frost. Charter member Armen Grigorian will make the 100th start of his career, joining Tim Joe and Chris Moawad already in the century club… A win here by Doug Vargas would leave him 1 shy (Griffith) of the career slam… Tim Joe (44) and Gerry Vaughan (38) enter with 2 of the 3 longest winless streaks on Tour. Vaughan’s last Tour victory came in the 2011 Charly Classic.

• SHORT CHIPS: After the Tour Championship, the Charly Classic has the highest number of different winners (9). Multiple winners include Gerry Vaughan (2), Armen Grigorian (2), and Clint Crump, who 3-peated from 2005 to 2007… Only 2 golfers in the history of the tournament have posted sub-30 rounds: Grigorian, 28 (2008) and Chris Moawad, 29 (2008 & 2012)… Patrick Bird has posted 7 straight sub-40 rounds, 2nd only to Grigorian (8)… Reaching milestones Sunday: Vaughan (85th career start), Quiroz (20th).
