The TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
The MGM Grand Tour concludes its 2013 season with the 3rd and final Major of the year, The Tour Championship. Doug Vargas (Match Play Invitational) and Armen Grigorian (The Masters) will be aiming for “The Double”, 2 Majors in a single season, a feat accomplished twice by Chris Moawad (2006, 2008). Last year’s winner P-Jay Fidler claimed the first Major of his career. The winner of the Tour’s longest running tournament receives an automatic birth in next year’s Masters, green fees for both the 2014 season opening Manhattan Beach Championship and season ending Tour Championship.
The Tour’s current #1 player, Doug Vargas, has his sights set on his first Player of the Year award. He won the Tour Championship in his last start (2011).

The Tour makes its first foray into the Santa Clarita Valley, with 18-hole Vista Valencia,
a 4,366 yard, par-61 course.
